JCSys Ltd Test compatibility of LDACS with Link-16
JCSys have recently completed the first stage of a project for EUROCONTROL to evaluate the compatibility of Link 16 with the new L-Band Digital Aeronautical Communication System (LDACS). This first stage was successfully completed with the support of the TDLSU at RAF Waddington and saw the JCSys team, that includes FREQUENTIS and DLR, testing the impact of LDACS signals on Link 16 receivers. This will be followed next year with the testing of Link 16 signals against the latest generation of LDACS receiver from FREQUENTIS.
