Once the system capability has been defined, the development of the solution invariably requires SME support from the stage where the Procurement Agency develops and issues an Invitation To Tender (ITT) to the management/monitoring of the chosen supplier(s).
JCSys Ltd can assist the procurement agency in the preparation
of appropriate tender documentation and the assessment of responses
such that an optimum down-select can be made.
The JCSys team has experience of managing suppliers on behalf of our customer community such
that the delivered system capability meets the needs as expressed within the specification.
Management activities would typically include:
- Managing the programme against the schedule
- Responding to queries from supplier regarding the specification and the programme in general
- Supporting the Procurement Agency representatives at key project milestones such as Preliminary/Critical Design reviews and Acceptance Testing.
The JCSys team has considerable experience in supporting customers in this part of the process and work in a pragmatic and constructive
manner with suppliers to assess problems and to find solutions that are acceptable to the customer community whilst remaining cognisant
of any commercial constraints. |
