Members of the JCSys team have extensive experience and knowledge of the various Test and Evaluation (T&E) activities that are necessary prior to fielding communication systems such as TDLs. Our strong pedigree in this area is a result of many years of both military and commercial experience, and covers various disciplines such as Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E) and Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E).

JCSys personnel are experienced in planning and conducting TDL testing on land-based, maritime and airborne platforms, both C2 and non-C2. Some of the platforms that JCSys personnel have provided T&E support for include the E-3D Sentry, Sea King ASaC Mk7, Type 42 Destroyer, NATO ACCS, Nimrod R1 and JAS39 Gripen.

As a test programme evolves through the various stages from paper-based analysis to live testing, so the cost of such activities increases significantly. JCSys is committed to supporting T&E programmes in an efficient and effective way, making use of all available data and test techniques to ensure that the required level of T&E is achieved for minimum cost.

Many TDL programmes overspend by procuring test tools that are either not suited to their intended purpose, or contain too much redundant functionality. As JCSys is a pure consultancy provider, we can provide impartial advice on such matters. Furthermore, being experienced users of TDL Test Tools including AGILE, JTU, MTS, Diginext and TIGER, we are able to recommend the most appropriate tool(s) for a particular test programme and can advise on the most efficient use of existing tools to further increase cost effectiveness.
